Where next for an IT Apprentice based in a school?

Dante is nearing the end of a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship.

We’re delighted to be able to share that he has just been offered a job at the school where he’s been working during his apprenticeship.

It’s brilliant that he’s already got a job lined up for when he completes his apprenticeship. Dante has now only got one exam left to finish his training. During his apprenticeship, Dante has passed his MTA Networking fundamentals, Server fundamentals, Mobility and Devices fundamentals and BCS Business Processes. Dante has his final exam of MTA Software fundamentals remaining.

Dante explained his decision to apply for an apprenticeship saying: “I felt that it was the best way to get into a work environment. I really liked the balance of being able to learn and work and felt like it was the best way to progress.”

The school where he is currently an apprentice and will carry on working is near to where he lives and we’re so pleased that he has made such fantastic progress there.

Dante’s interest in IT started from an early age and he’s long been the IT technician of his family. Whilst at school he found that it was the main subject he both enjoyed and did well in.  An IT apprenticeship was a natural route for him.

We wish Dante the best of luck in his new job.
