Level 3 Digital Champion: Education

The role of the Digital Champion within a primary or secondary school is to take the Senior Leadership team and wider school on a journey of digital transformation. Your Digital Champion will embed technology and remote learning into the heart of the teaching and learning experience to benefit teachers, children and parents. The Digital Champion will work with technology providers such as Google and Microsoft to support with the delivery of the computing curriculum and maximise the use of technology and curriculum resource licenses in the school.

Level 3 Information Communications Technician

The role of an Information Communications Technician based in a primary school or secondary school is to support the internal IT department or managed service provider to maintain a lower-level presence on the ground whereby teachers, children, and wider staff feel supported with technology. This is achieved by monitoring and maintaining the IT systems and platforms to maximise productivity and user experience.

Level 4 Network Engineer

The primary role of a network engineer is to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation or between organisations. Network engineers need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. They will understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance.
