Digital Champion and AI Education Programme
The Digital Champion and AI Education Programme develops confident, future-ready people who can make better use of technology and AI across their education setting. With an impact-first approach, apprentices build practical digital skills and apply them to real priorities, from enhancing teaching and learning to improving productivity, data and digital ways of working. Learning is role-based, context-related and designed around real workplace impact.
Our flexible programme combines digital learning, practical workshops, personalised coaching and workplace application. Apprentices build strong digital foundations before shaping their learning around their role, education context and development goals, developing the capabilities needed for the 21st-century education environment.
Beyond the core programme, apprentices can access role-based specialist learning relevant to their interests, setting and priorities, creating a personalised journey that supports wider improvement and impact.
Learning is flexible, practical and context-related, combining self-paced digital learning, optional live workshops and application within the apprentice's school, college or trust. Every learner has their own dedicated coach, providing personalised support to help turn learning into action and impact.
Designed for the 21st-century education workforce, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, HLTAs, ECTs, Lecturers, School Business Managers, Administrators, Data and MIS Teams, Digital Leads and Trust Central Teams.
12 months, combining learning, workplace application and on-programme assessment through a portfolio and professional discussion.
Learners have access to engaging digital resources, including interactive learning, video content and self-paced activities. They can also connect with other Digital Champions to share ideas, experiences and best practice across education.
We host regular networking events that connect learners with industry professionals. These events provide valuable insights and opportunities to build relationships within the sector. Engaging with peers and mentors can significantly enhance your career prospects.
Gateway to completion is made up of two parts: the portfolio you’ll build throughout your time on programme and submit, and a 60-minute professional discussion with an independent assessor. Following your assessment, you’ll receive an overall grade of Fail, Pass or Distinction.
